It would be easy for us to tell you what working with Provincial is like and why you would love being a part of our family, but we thought it would be better to let some our valued staff tell you for themselves.

Long story…just to say that my family and I have thrived thanks to Provincial.
In the past working with a great team of career driven and helpful men and women, some still with us, some not. R.I.P.
Knowing that no two days on site will be the same.
Oh sorry can’t answer that one, might get my P45 in the post if I did (ha ha).
All the on-site training that has been provided.
I have enjoyed my days and nights here, thanks Provincial!
Yes
I started last November, so I’ve been with the company for 7 months.
I saw the company as a very progressive security company. The contracts they manage are all constantly developing, which I thought would be a great opportunity to develop my own skills. Since starting I found the large team I work with to be a great support and have turned into very good friends. There is great team spirit.
The management have been very flexible and understanding whenever I needed time off and regularly check-in to see how everyone is.
I enjoy the fact that I can use my customer service skills. I am actively encouraged to be friendly to the employees we look after and it is a great pleasure to me to see everybody smiling because of our great service.
As the company and contracts continue to grow and expand, there is constant changes in our working environment. Therefore it is very important that we adapt ourselves and change along with the needs of the client.
Since starting only 7 months ago, I have been trained to the highest of standards in every aspect of my job. I have also received extra training in areas such as customer service and constantly refreshed on our clients SOP’s.
In the future I see myself staying within Provincial but moving across into a role that is more customer-service based, rather than security.
I would definitely recommend Provincial to friends because of how often I see new opportunities, promotions and training provided to their staff.
I have been with Provincial since November 2015
It was an opportunity I couldn’t miss out on - and perfect timing. I had just finished an Administrative course.
Meeting amazing people throughout all the sites I’ve worked on. But especially when I became full-time. All staff and bosses, both in Provincial and my other sites, have been very supportive and helpful throughout my working career. Love working for Provincial.
Helping people around me and cheering people up, even if its just listening to them. I enjoy working with my team - they’re brilliant.
I find when our lenel system is acting up, it does get difficult but me and the team work together to figure things out.
I have completed the Griffith training for Anti terrorism. I’ve also done a conflict management course.
I wish to complete my PSA licence, but would also like to do a supervisor course. Overall I do see growth in the company and its future and 100% want to be part of it.
I have done and will continue to recommend Provincial to both friends and Family.
I Started my employment with Provincial Security on 08.05.2017, so a little over 1 year
I needed a change from my previous site and also, I heard great feedback about the company.
Regarding the site I am currently deployed in I would have to say that the most important thing would have to be seeing this project materialize. Regarding my employment with Provincial, the highlights would be the opportunity I’ve been given, to be part of this great team, and also the opportunities that the company has given me regarding my career.
The everchanging site, and the challenges that arise every day.
The most challenging but also one of the most enjoyable parts of my job come from dealing with new situations daily, but performing the job to the best of my abilities and with the support of a dedicated team, we always respond to all of the customers’ requests and all the unforeseen events in a professional manner while always keeping a smile on our faces.
Since I started my employment with the company, I have been trained on all posts on site, including the more challenging posts such as Gate 2 and SOC. Apart from the post specific training, Provincial Security have provided me with the Aid Response Training which was delivered in such a professional and also enjoyable manner by the trainer. While on site I have also completed the MACE H&S Supervisory Training
Based on my evolution so far within the company, I can state that Provincial is the type of company that recognises, and rewards had work and commitment. It’s a company that invests in it’s staff. I hope that by performing the tasks given to me the same way I have been doing so far, with improving and constant learning, I see my role growing in the future.
I have already done so, some of my friends already successfully applied and are employed now with Provincial. I will continue to recommend the company 100%.
1 year.
New career change and exciting opportunities.;
The friends I have made that turned into a Family.
Every day is different, no 2 days are ever the same. The variety of my job makes it exciting. You could be dealing with an employee about a badge to then dealing with 100+ external guests that are onsite for an event. These guests could be from new born to 90+ of age.
As the company expands and different protocols happen all the time, I need to make sure I am aware of new procedures and protocols. This can be challenging as you may need to adapt to a new way of doing old jobs.
I have done reception training onsite from NHO to being retrained on all onsite SOP’s.
Opportunities arise all the time in this job and the company love to see people move up so I can see myself getting a higher position and working within the Managment team.
100%. Best company I have ever worked for.
I have worked with Provincial since December 2016, so about a year and a half.
I wanted a career change and to move to a growing and expanding company where I could progress. I started to look at job opportunities and knew I wanted to be a part of Provincial from the start. The training provided and opportunities available are second to none with Provincial.
We have made the transition from a construction site to a newly built building and we did so as a team and without flaw so that was great to be a part of. I have also completed a lot of new training with the company which it brilliant. I also meet a lot of new people on a dailybasis which I love.
The chance is always there to always progress and take on new challenges. Meeting new people on a daily basis is great and also feeling part of such a brilliant team.
To be honest I love my job here and don’t see it as challenging to myself, I like to take on new tasks and get a successful completion on them.
I have completed:
I would love to progress further with the company and maybe complete the Management Training Course.
Without a doubt and I have done so on two occasions where the candidates were also successful in getting a job offer.
I have been working with Provincial for almost four months now.
The role sounded very interesting and was something I thought I would enjoy. I was also impressed with everyone I met during my interview process, they were all very friendly and professional.
So far my main highlight has been how open Provincial has been to any feedback you give, and how they have actually taken on-board suggestions made by myself and my colleague who started in the role as Brand Ambassador.
I love how no two days are the same, I get to meet so many different people every day and that really keeps things interesting. It feels like there is so much potential for growth and career progression, which is always something that was important to me.
Probably the uncertainty, you can be pulled in any different direction at any time of the day. You never really know what is coming next, so you are kept on your toes all the times! Ironically this is also what I love about it, challenge is what helps us grow and I feel this role is doing that for me.
I completed NHO security training in my first week. I received training in the role from my manager and also cross team training from reception and front of house.
I see many different avenues and opportunities in the future. Many of my colleagues have moved or have been promoted into other roles quite quickly after commencing employment with Provincial.
Yes I definitely would, they are a great company to work for. They are always willing to listen and help you in any way they possibly can.
- Ellen O’Shea
